Apicha CHC will be marching in the Queens Pride Parade and offering free HIV/STD Testing from 12-6 at the Festival.  Stop by and say hello!

Retrace our Roots, Decolonize our Diets Workshop

During this workshop, Gabriela Alvarez and Christiaan Pfeifer will retrace the interwoven histories of colonization and resistance in Puerto Rico and the Philippines. Serving PuertRican and Filipino foods prepared wth coconut milk as a   entry for our discussion we will start thinking about how wcan return to the diets of our  ancestors as part of a growinhistory of resistance, decolonization, and healthy living.

Page Meets Stage, The Crossover

Apicha CHC is teaming up with Urban Word NYC and Lambda Literary for and powerful poetry reading and conversation with the poets.  This event pairs poet and Apicha CHC honoree, Staceyann Chin, with an emerging teen poets from Urban Word NYC, Maya-Ange Veras. This event is not to be missed!
